Patent Examiner’s Training

The Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) has approved a one year training program for newly recruited Examiners of Patents & Designs. The new Examiners will undergo three months of Institutional Training at NIIPM, Nagpur followed by eight months of on the job training at various patent offices. Thereafter, they will further undergo an advanced training of one month on Patent Law & Examination methodology at NIIPM Nagpur.
